Strange thing here is,
Win and we're last on MotD
Draw and we're last on MotD
Loose and it's first up as shock of the day.
That said, and looking at the fixtures, only the Manc derby is bigger so 2nd up come Saturday night.

I'm going to say - lovely vibes on here atm with the Potter threads providing catharsis for our psychoses and the team doing well. If we do lose can we remember to remain kind to each other.
Can already see the absolute carnage if their attacking players roll us over.

Just do what everyone else do and abuse that Liverpool needs to pretend Trent Alexander-Arnold is good enough (to protect his value so they can ship him to some easily tricked wealthy club when the time/money is right), should result in two or three goals. Obviously on their day they could also score 2-3 goals and you can never be sure to win if the opponents do that. Should be a close but goal rich game, slight advantage for Brighton perhaps but 2-2 would be my bet in the end.

I was thinking about how good the battle between Mitoma and Alexander Arnold will be. Mainly because I think he’ll easily get the better of him.

Do you think it will occur to Klopp that if they set up to park the bus, they will definitely get something and probably win?

It would be quite amusing to see Colwill standing on the ball for 2 minutes waiting for them to press and they do nothing.
Up to the point the usual numpties behind me start screaming "What are you doing??! - Get it forward!"

Given their form and injuries, might be one the few times that Klopp can get away with setting them up that way.. I just find Albion-loving easier with a healthy dose of pessimism !!

Wouldn’t be a huge surprise………if their attackers click, we could get mullered. Equally, if their midfield and defence plays at it has been, we might batter them. BTTS nailed on.

0-0 then.

That is one very happy looking team, despite the conditions. Big smiles from Mac, Caicedo, Lallana and the lads. Van Hecke enjoying the English weather!

I really love this team so much.

Love the sprint thing with Colwill and Gross... Colwill looking like he's out on a slow Sunday run while Pascal is giving a 110% effort to keep up with him :ROFLMAO:
Looks cold as f***. Hope the boys got some hot chocolate or something (tea..?) afterwards.

We always tend to do fairly well against Liverpool at the Amex, even if it's rarely reflected in the points. They might arguably still be a bit of a handful going forward, but not as much as they once were, and their defence has been ropey AF for yonks. Looks unlikely that they'll win by the traditional single Salah goal this time around, and Mitoma will rip their flank to shreds. Worth a punt on Ferguson up front to reap the benefits shirley? Should be a cracking game and maybe even one to add to the list of legends!

Love that, zero tolerance from RDZ for the weather! He could have easily given the squad an indoor training session but instead he stuck them outside in the extreme winter elements. The South American boys must have enjoyed that session!

Nunez is a doubt...

Diaz, Jota, Firmino and Nunez out.

Gonna have to make do with Salah, Gakpo and Carvalho. Bare bones upfront!
Gakpo unproven and Dutch league so we know that usually means rubbish and carvalho is too lightweight. So would be great news if Nunez out.

TAA has won everything there is to win, on the way scoring great goals and providing insane numbers of assists only beaten by Andy Robertson. Whilst in his teens/early 20’s.

He never had the defensive attributes of Wan-Bissaka, Veltman or other out and out full backs, it’s not in Klopp’s tactics, instead high stakes end to end football, the flying full backs creating goal after goal.

The game will be won in midfield anyway, they usually are. Ours in brilliant, look at the way they destroyed Chelsea. Whilst Liverpool’s is suddenly past its sell by date, no legs.

He was great in 18/19 and 19/20, one of their weakest links now. Not a bad player but shouldn't play right back.
