[Football] Coincidental (?) Potterish Things

Without data (and I’m sure I’ve seen minutes/games lost through injury sometime in the past), I’m simply not having this supposed connection between Potter and injuries.

1. The areas of the back room staff that Potter didn’t poach anyone from include medical and conditioning.

2. I’ve just read a random Chelsea fan comment that they’ve suffered with injuries for a few seasons now - which would rule out any Potter causation.
3. because it’s bollocks :)

You'll have to forgive me, but is this just the opinion of a random guy on twitter?
Incidentally I had a quite sudden and unexpected spasm of hatred toward Potter earlier, and would now quite like to see him slip over in his managers area and land straight on his stupid little face.

I think you’ll find he has a podcast so is obviously some kind of oracle to himself.

No professional sportsman should pull their hammy after a minute if they’ve prepared properly.
If you could have a big red "bring back Potter" button, that would reinstall him/all his coaching team (as if nothing had happened) whilst erasing all the Chelsea/RDZ memories.

Would you push it?

100% no.

But if I had a big red “keep everything the same as now except Bruno and Ben Roberts are back here” button, I’m all over it.

I’m still mourning the legend of Bruno and I still think Roberts is the best keeper coach in the business

Although Sanchez is now at least attempting to save a penalty

Sideways sideways backwards backwards hoof

It’s so reminiscent of us on our bad days under Potter, difference is… here he got away with it and managed to keep the fans on side, I’m not sure he will at Chelsea

I've just made myself a cuppa so I'm all ready to remind Chelsea Twitter

And the crowd yell SHOOT.
Wonder if he will say it put pressure on the team when they're trying their best to pass it sideways/backwards

Is there a breakdown between muscle and impact?

His complete collapse as a player is so strange. Had everything for us and thought he’d just plug straight in at Chelsea. Even more so when Potter went there.
That drubbing and his reception at the Amex seemed to really knock him. He looked absolutely broken as he trudged off when subbed, then appeared to be in tears when the cameras showed him in the stand at full time.

He looks defeated right now. He started okay tonight but by the time he was hauled off again by Potter he looked, once again, a shell of a man.

Great shout and a real case for a more hostile and authentic atmosphere at the Amex when needed. Get behind our players and wind up theirs should be our start point.
