The bloke's first two posts on here were to have a dig on this thread and to defend Aaron Ramsdale, so, yes, I'm pretty sure he's a Gooner.

Nevertheless, he is only banned from this thread and is free to post positive and interesting things on any other thread about the Albion. I await them with glee.
I doubt any of us will be holding our breathe.

I've always had 2 tickets in the North in my and my son's (and now my nephew's) names. We share these amongst my two nephews, their kids, my son sometimes (boxing day, new years eve etc) and up to date have never had a ticket going spare.

However if we did, I have a couple of close mates who are born and bred Leeds and Leicester supporters, and if we were playing them, I would definitely take my mates along on my tickets and I know my son and nephews have similar football mad friends.

Because none of us over the years have never made a habit of befriending lairy dickheads, I suspect this won't be an issue :lolol:

The punishment - for passing on - according to the club charter is a 5 match ban. For selling tickets - it’s considerably more. And they do eject fans (apparently 16 ejected yesterday) and impose lengthy bans etc.
How do you you know 16 were ejected?
Do you know how many have been ejected all season? Last season? This would be quite interesting to see in a different thread.

Do you have to be a member to buy from the ticket exchange? I don't think he's that committed.
Only for the 'big' games that away supporters want to get tickets for. If you're a Brighton supporter that can't afford to go to loads of games and buying membership will stop you going to a game then February will be the next opportunity. Bournemouth isn't quite so popular! I'm going to email PB OBE & ask for a purchase history loyalty point scheme to be put in place for exchange tickets, especially for those who usually buy on the exchange and pay adult price for a kid ticket & go to games when they can afford it, rather than who the opposition is! More points awarded if we lost the game that was attended. Obviously this wouldn't benefit me though! :lolol: :ascarf:
Edit to add. I'm not going to actually email him! I'm going to ask Swannie to do it for me. ;)

Disagree. Letting F&B in the home end is worse
It depends on their behaviour .

Somebody on this or the official Albion Arsenal thread quoted the number (seemed to have a decent source) and suggested it was a “record”.

I think people are confusing a number of different issues.
Being an Arsenal fan at the Amex is not against the rules.
Causing a commotion as an Arsenal fan gets them ejected. That happened.
Selling your ticket for yesterday’s match is illegal. It’s ticket touting. If you have evidence of it you should pass this on to the club or the police.

The club seems to have their ticketing war the wrong way round.
They are of course doing both and should be doing both but policing and fairness is never going to be easy with these issues (stewards, reporting. Sanctions). But just wrong to suggest club turn a blind eye to bad behaviour or touting etc from away fans in home end.

Many people exaggerate, I once spoke to a dwarf who said he was a professional basketball player.

?? Well I’ve added up at least 10 or so different ejections logged on this thread so don’t think it’s in the unlikely basketball player category I’m afraid.

There's a lot of conflict in my mind about what is happening both home and away.
Arsenal, I had a guy with his son sat next to me in EU. These seats are empty and generally I get newbies (or Japanese a lot recently). Whoever it is they are also accompanied with a couple of bags from the club store. Win win for the club. The Arsenal couple were good natured and well informed on football, knew our team well. Didn't leap about celebrating and kept quiet. Won me over when son (around 12yo) said they live near Palace but couldn't support them!
But here's the thing. These two seats are unsold, no season tickets, and not the first place a STH would put his Arsenal supporting mates and so the club must have sold them on the open market (wish I asked the Dad where he purchased them from). Fan Charter states in Catagory 2 section 3 you mustn't buy or sell a ticket to away fans in a home area. But someone did, be it either the club or a tout.
Note. Chelsea fans also kept quiet but we all knew who they were, face in hands as each goal went in.
Meanwhile I've been treated like a criminal because I go to away games. Who are you, where's your ticket, is it yours, do you have ID? I'm full on scarf, coat and Albion shirt going in the away end.
Next up is Liverpool, guaranteed away fans sat next to me.
Should I have to put up with it? Can I ask a steward to remove them?

They might have had a membership?

Of course, everyone is avoiding the main reason for this problem. It is the STHs who are to blame.

If all the season season ticket holders were proper loyal fans, then instead of crying off because 'it was New Years Eve' or 'it might be a bit wet and windy' they would have turned up to the game and then there wouldn't have been so many tickets available.😉
