That Grizz Khan is a known chancer by pretty much all proper Liverpool twitter. Talks about nonsense and blocks literally anyone who calls him out when he deletes tweets, clown.

Some great insight reading through this stuff to be honest!! Few more 'reliable' itks saying Brighton playing hard ball.. obviously! As a few have said, with losing so many midfielders it would be tough to lose a high profile one halfway through the season!

Would be very suprised to see Moises these ways this January, I'd imagine there would be a few big hitters in for him in the summer as well! Depends if we can actually get top 4 if we Will be in that list!!! 🤔

Absolutely.
Better than Liverpool? Wow.

I love how a few seasons in the top division and some good purchases of players means that our fans can regard teams like Liverpool with disdain. Probably the most successful english team ever.

we have developed such a sense of superiority it’s actually comical . When we actually win anything we can adopt a hoity toity outlook…as of yet, we have Won f*** all!

Bit of an overeaction, but hey. Not sure how you've got disdain from what I posted, but you crack on.

It's more to do with how good I rate Caicedo, rather than anything against Liverpool. I truly believe he is going to become one of the best central midfielders in world football. For all of Liverpool's undeniable historic and recent success, I feel like they're probably at the top of their apex for the moment and aren't currently regarded as being amongst the absolute elite of club football.

Quite a few rumblings on Liverpool ITK twitter about negotiations starting.

£50m £12.5 in achievable add ons.

Brighton holding firm for another +20.

NB.

This is not me saying there's any truth/actual happening!!

Also not saying I think its fair ect, by what everyone has said in this thread looks like Liverpool are trying to underoffer! Who knows though! Just passing on what the nonsense online is saying!!

How does gakpo get done without any leaks or whatever until it’s basically done. Now everyone knows about this deal ?

Probably a bit OTT. I admit, apologies, but I have heard some nonsense at recent games trashing teams who to be honest is Ridiculous

I am not getting carried away with him. Yes he is a very decent player, but there are a lot of very decent players out there.

if I was him ( and Super Mac) I would be looking to cement his position here for this year and then come next summer, look to be moving to a club that will actually win cups etc. bit like Kane is wasting his talent at Spurs.

will be interesting seeing him Saturday against arguably the best side in England at the moment. Shame Mac isn’t off the piss yet. We could do with him!

He's suspended on Saturday, sadly! 5th booking picked up on Boxing Day.

I don't think transfer deals from 40 years ago have that much of a bearing.
Well yes, OK - history means nothing. Lawrenson and Robinson were probably too good for us anyway..... yes? Or maybe Liverpool had/have a bit of class, unlike, say Chelski and the team that have never won a promotion but were just nodded through to the first division because they were the right sort of chaps.........

Robertson? He's looked to me like he was finished the moment they won the league and he went off on a week long bender.
And yet he's the defender with the most assists in Premier League history and has been playing really well recently. Wasn't good for the end of last season or the start of this but has kicked on again

On the basis our price was £70m, seems a bit cheap to me.

Established international, with age on his side, with the buying club a little desperate to strengthen in that area.

Draw Chelsea in… he’s Liverpool’s for £70m. Hear that, Boehly? Liverpool are getting an asset from us instead of you…

I suppose he *could* be yours for £85m and Colwill…

We really do hold all the cards in this. The player is on a decent contract length, we have no desire or need to sell to balance the books and he's really happy here.

Our chairman is a world champion poker player who never ever shows his cards. Pretty much all previous sales have been 'undisclosed'. Saying that, the leaks from Chelsea side put Cucurellas fee at £63m and we consider Caicedo a bigger talent.

Not hard to invent a figure that Brighton have asked for. But that's not how Tony Bloom does it.

He may go. He may not. But you can guarantee that If and when he does, it'll eclipse the clubs highest ever sales price which was Cucurellas, which eclipsed the £50m we got for White etc...

There's literally no point in passing on the online nonsense to us. I'm pretty sure Brighton had Google before Liverpool had Thai food.

The transfer window hasnt even opened yet, LFC will not be the only team intrested, the way Bloom works is he has a figure but will nit tell you, you bid, when you match what he wants he will talk. As you say 70m quoted, i think other clubs will go higher than that.

I love how some LFC fans think we are taking the piss, because we only payed 5m for him, some even think because we are only Supposedly paying 3.5k a week then hes only worth 35m.
