If ever you see an Albion player or manager kiss the badge or pat their heart just remember next time they don’t mean it…. They’re players.

I’ve paid my money and I have a right to boo when I want - had to admit I thought we were all spot on, Cucurella for asking for transfer and Potter for taking the back room staff, Callagher for playing to palace but did we go too far…….I mean we actually wasted energy booing Raheem Sterling!!

I agree, if people want to boo it’s up to them. It’s all about circumstance anyway eg if drawing at home, without scoring, for umpteenth match against ‘beatable opposition’ then fair enough. As per Leeds last season, people were just frustrated and only a smattering of at that. If it’s still nil nil against Real Madrid at HT and you boo, then you’d probably look an entitled plonker. As others have expressed, it’s all part of the pantomime too and usually forgotten by time we all get home. I can’t think of anyone in football I’ve ever really hated anyway…with 2 notable exceptions. Penny for the Guy?

I neither listen to talk radio nor read the kind of mind-rotting tabloids which exist purely to give people something slightly more interesting to do than picking their nose, but I’m informed they are fed up with us for booing Potter. They can do one.

Cap-doffers to the ‘Big Six’, complacent in the whole ghastly ‘celebrity’ circus which infests our media these days, not interested in fan culture or the soul of the game, just in who’s got the most money and who’s shagging whom.

I was so proud to be an Albion fan on Saturday.

Booo.

The great thing was, Chelsea fans didn't have a clue how to respond either. They got muted.

For me, the booing was about Chelsea. I'm sorry that Bruno, Roberts and Cucurella got booed, but unfortunately anything in a Chelsea shirt (and especially any of them with recent Brighton connections), were going to get booed.

This was about standing up for BHA and Tony Bllom.
Totally agree it - for me at least - is not about the individuals, but about the Chelsea/big club syndrome.
Why do they want Paul Winstanley when only a few days ago they recruited Southampton’s head of recruitment Joe Shields. Are they trying to corner the world market in recruitment specialists?
At least the tea lady hasn’t gone yet.

We’re a small team who gave one of the big clubs hell. Of course a lot of fans have opinions, we should know our place against the likes of Chelsea.

It was a completely cathartic experience for me at the back of the North, gave it a good old boo whenever Chelsea were on the ball and cheered Albion on when we were in control... ended up cheering more than I was booing.

Afterward. I felt cleansed of all negative feeling and after watching the match back, felt a little sorry for Cucu getting the amount of vitriol he got, at the time it felt entirely warranted though.

Anyway... I plan on booing Aston Villa now.. in fact we should boo every team who comes to the Amex... because let's be honest, they're all c**ts at the end of the day, aren't they?

Saturday was great but vitriolic ? Hardly

Most people around me where laughing almost as much as they were boooing. The early goals helped the crowd relax and from then on in, it was a great atmosphere of cheering on the boys and laughing at Chelsea. People around us in the North were falling about in between boooing Ben Roberts, 'Shit Brighton Hove Albion', 'buy you a song', 'sacked in the morning'

Just Absolutely Brilliant Pure Brighton pantomime :lolol:
Granted, it wasn't exactly Fenerbahce v Galatasaray but pretty amazing for Brighton & Hove. At one point I did see someone put down their soya moccachino and tofu wrap and boo until they went a bit dizzy.

A couple of said they felt sorry for Cucurella why? After one season he down tools for us now looks half the player he was and keeps getting made the scape goat although I think it’s easier for Potter to haul him of early rather than a established Chelsea player.

Yes but piglets pantry haven't signed a new contract! Giles and Tarquin at the Bridge are drooling over the possibility of a truffle & foie gras guest pie
