Not content with stripping us of our entire coaching team and POS they are now after, and by the sound of it, likely to get Trossard. WTF I know the reasons against salary caps and the like but this is getting ridiculous.

Don't forget Caicedo is joining Chelsea for £100m in January

I’m not a Chelsea fan either, but firstly we’re not in a transfer window, and secondly even if they did want him, and that’s not a given, they would have to stump up another big fee and Leandro would have to decide if the extra money is worth having to compete with Stirling, Havertz, Aubamyang, Ziyech and presumably several other £50m + signings for a place

This considering the article that has been mooted about, informs us he is not content with going anywhere to sit on the bench.
I fear he would at Chelsea, Tottenham, Arsenal, City, Liverpool, he has to realise this, which would at the moment mean a sideways move to someone like Newcastle who can improve and are throwing money about, probably is better here or abroad.

after the way Chelski 'fans' behaved at the Amex last season they were already up there with my one of my most hated clubs and this just reinforced matters.

Lol.

All the people that think it would be about him not wanting to sit on the bench there rather than them doubling or trippling his wages.

Same people that convinced themselves that Potter wouldn't go to Chelsea because he hadn't finished his Brighton project.

If Chelsea come in for him and offer a fee that matches Bloom's valuation, he'll be gone. Don't start convincing yourselves otherwise or you'll end up very disappointed in January/July.

Join the club. Older Fulham fans detest them and we all were gutted to have our recent game against them postponed as it would have been an excellent chance to stuff them before Potter got his feet under the table. It would have been an absolute pleasure for me and other Brighton Cottagers and I wouldn't have had to buy a drink in the Cleveland for weeks.

Might as well be disappointed now rather than in January, eh ?

Whatever will be will be.

No point in being gloomy now about future hypotheticals.

There is no evidence they are after Trossard. He just said that it would be a team he would play for during an interview.

I don't see that he would go there to warm the bench.

Then I fear you have overlooked the power of money! Of course he would be happy being sat on a bench for 4x / 5x what we pay him. As with Potter, Bruno et al it's only ever about the money. That's football today.

If he goes, it's for decent money and another potential valuable asset gets a chance from within the squad, or recruited with some of the fee. If he stays, we keep a decent player. Can't see the problem, myself.

People need to get used to Brighton players (and managers) attracting attention. It's what happens as you move up the food chain and are no longer 'under the radar'

When the original thread was started DAYS AGO, it was quite clear he was only answering a question he was hardly strolling up the Kings Road with a pen in his hand.

Yup

Rob Sanchez, Leo Trossard, Moises Caicedo and Alexis Mac Allister are all off to Chelsea in January.

I think Solly March said something that he'd think it would be nice to move to a big club at some point, so he'll be off to Manchester United, along with Danny Welbeck because I read something on Redcafe that he'd be good for them.

Adam Webster will finalize his transfer to Liverpool on January 1, and obviously he's taking Joel Veltman with him.

Bayern München are going to buy one third of Tariq Lamptey, with another third going to Arsenal and the third third going with Webster and Veltman, because I read rumours that those clubs would be interested.

And there's nothing anyone can do about it because as we all know you're entirely free to change clubs without the selling club having any say in the deal.
