Big clubs interested in Caicedo and him being open to playing for them is hardly groundbreaking news!!

Let’s be honest we have all been watching and enjoying him this season knowing full well he will be the most likely to move on next summer.

Of course it's not ground breaking news but it will still hurt that much more if he ends up at Chelsea. Are we sure that on Potter's suggestion Chelsea aren't tapping up the Lancing training facility chef and the announcement is imminent?:ffsparr:

Quite. He has been so good so quickly I've had a sense we have to enjoy him while we can. Pleasantly surprised he didn't leave in the summer. The good news is that Tony and co will ensure we get a hefty wedge if and when he does move on.

It's when he moves on, not if.

But if he does go to Chelsea, it will be for a very, very hefty wedge indeed

The club shop definitely need to stop printing player names on the backs of shirts. For those fans that indulge it’s surely not worth the risk. Maybe ‘Passing Through’ would be a better option, bit long though.

We have a very healthy relationship with Chelsea regarding players - we get their youngsters cheap and sell them Cucu for 60 million. Coaching staff another matter...

Inside Information.
One of my staff work part time at the catering on match days.
She has NOT been asked to transfer to Chelsea but is annoyed she hasn't had any work for weeks.

Fuzzy Felt shirts, amazed it hasn't been done before

If I get the investment on Dragon's den, you'll get a beer and curry out of it

Yep, I heard a rumour that Sammy the seagull has been spotted along the Kings Road on Chelsea matchdays, too, having been the subject of a summer move...

It’s unlikely Moises will be with us next season if he continues playing as he is and scores more goals as well. If he has a good World Cup , then I suspect he will join a very small list of players worth around £100 M . I’m not joking .

He's had some good matches but has a long way to go yet to prove his worth.

Folk are getting far too excited about him. Check in at the end of the season.

Then again, as AC was quoted in here at £50m after that Spurs match I shouldn't be surprised.

I've been reticent about sticking my head above the parapet and voicing this. But yes, this.

Moises Caicedo is not as good a player (YET) as either Brighton fans, or the twittersphere rumour machine, hold him up to be. He has enormous potential, and lots of good attributes - superb attitude, superb athleticism, uncanny ability to make tackles that look impossible to make - but technically, he's really not (YET) top level at all. Brighton have loads of players with superior technical ability.

All that said - you can't ignore the incredible upturn in our results, that coincides exactly with his introduction to the side...

Agree. If a club wants to buy a player who provides top level quality today, they should go for Alexis. Currently he is technically a more complete footballer.

The raw and obvious potential in Caicedo is what might make him worth more money however. Only 20 years but he reads the game as if he's been playing on top level for 10 years. And physically he's already strong and will be a monster in a few years.

100%. Alexis Mac Allister is an absolutely fantastic footballer, with almost no weaknesses in his game (he could be a bit faster, I guess).

Yep. He's been the standout player for the Albion this season (and that's with decent performances from many others). I'm amazed there's been no gossip about clubs in for him

Unfortunately, despite the media missing out on him and not gossiping about him, other clubs will be aware...

The really exciting thing about our development is that we are currently watching the best ever brighton team. This is not some sort of bias based on recent history, it is shown by stats. So when we say “he is the best player to ever represent that albion” it is not always hyperbole, it could be real.

This time last year I said Bissouma is our best ever. I am close to saying Alexis is better than Bissouma (but not quite) and caicedo could be the best of the lot.

Yes potter has gone but this is a brilliant time to support us. UTA.
