No one person is bigger than the club. Includes Tony Bloom.

The king is dead. Long live the king. We move on.

Nathan Jones, you’ve been gone too long… ;)

If he had waited till after the Bournemouth game then I wouldn't have had an issue as it would of given us three weeks to replace him but absolutely bad timing with an winnable game now we'll probably.....

Neither.

It's a bit of a dilemna really. I wom't rejoice if he crashes and burns - but neither do I want Chelsea to do well.

I think for the sake of football, it would be best if Chelsea results gradually worsened over the coming months to the point where they are in the lower half of the table, and finish there, this is the big 6 version of relegation. Then we will see how committed Chelsea are to a long term appointment.

The latter right now I’m afraid. Probably change when I simmer down a little!

Blimey!

Even as someone who voted Potter Out during some dark times I am stunned that some people are saying **** you. For christ's sake people, look at where we are!

Seasons hardly started, we know there’s a fallow period to come even if Potter stayed! All about the finish. 9th last season was exceptional. However, in context, Brentford finished 13th in first PL season only 5pts behind. Maybe time to tap Thomas up?

A big 'thank you' from me. And it'll be the same tomorrow. And every other day following.

Even if he goes, he'll have left the club in a much better place than when he found it.

In a business as uncertain as football management, that's really all we can ask for.

Chelsea isn't his best option - it may well end in tears. But ultimately it's his call.

Potter's not irreplaceable. No manager ever is.

Time will heal the raw feelings of today.

All that's left will be gratitude.

Anything other than thank you is quite frankly disrespectful. He has done a wonderful job for us. This day was always going to happen at some point. The timing would never have been right.
Graham is an ambitious manager that has earned his stripes. If Chelsea have bought into a similar philosophy to what he has worked his magic with us, then they will have a decent manager that will bring success to them.
If our Tony hasn’t planned for this day then I would be extremely disappointed.
We’re in good hands and will be fine, I’m sure.
However, if Chelsea stuff is 4-0 the next time we play them, then Potter can **** OFF!

Swindon, but used to be Manila
Tells us he only came to the club because of TB
He loves the set up… gets what he wants from TB.

Chelsea wave the quids under his nose and he’s gone…

Seasons end he would have gone with best wishes right now
It’s F Off…

And it’s poxy Chelsea … guess he will get a big pay off in 6 months

Really appreciate what he’s done for us, but if he goes he’s walked out on us without seeing the job through. I’m really disappointed by all of this, I’m sure that TB is as well.

Ive voted Thank you because I want to be the bigger man but disappointment is my overriding feeling right now.
Here was a guy that preached the "Project over money" mantra. And Im disappointed because I believed him. Which is the bigger project? Getting a club that was nearly out of existence 25 years ago, into europe and challenging for honours or helping a club that won the Champions League less than 18 months ago and can throw money around when it needs to, to what? Win that again?
For all his supposed "emotional intelligence", he felt he needed to have a pop at the fan base when 50 idiots booed the team during a time when we won once at home between sept and May?, and had 11 games in a row without winning..
Or very recently when he felt the need to mention that he couldnt leave the house without fans shouting at him about why he wasnt starting Maupay? I mean, seriousy? How many fans do you actually think did that and how many times?
He seems to have taken those very small incidents to heart, how is he going to react if/when the toxic fans of CFC start on him?

Very very few managers see their job through though.

He leave us in the top 4 with a chance to go top at the weekend.

Thanks Graham.

Can he handle the pressure of a club like Chelsea? The way he pissed his knickers at a few boos at the Amex will be nothing if goes on the same winless run there.

If he’s gone next summer, I would have wished him well but the timing and speed of departure makes it pretty clear what he thinks of Brighton as a club. I’ve lost all respect for the man.

To all those that picked the less polite option, how would you react if someone came a long and offered to massively increase your salary and guarantee you a payout even if you fail, the sort of money that would set you and your family up for life?

Thank you, enjoyed the style of football and seeing some very good results.
But hope Chelsea win f*** all and finish in the bottom half of the league.
