Longman looks like he could be pushing for a place in the squad next season.

Doesn't seem to start for Hull too often - usually comes on off the bench, I think. I also think he'll be in a long queue for a wide attacking place at the Albion next season; still, he seems to have worked well and professionally in his loan spells, quietly learning his trade, so who knows?

He's been injured and has had Covid. When he's fit, he tends to start.

Blackburn now same points as Bournemouth, joint 1st. Cant hurt our valuation of Khadra/Van Hecke should Blackburn try to buy them.

Khadra has a good chance of getting into next year’s squad, I really think we need an alternative to Trossard and like Sarmiento, he could be that man. Of course, Mitoma is doing well also, it couldn’t be more competitive for the three of them.

Plenty of interest out there today - Khadra with an assist for Blackburn's winner, and Van Whacke managed to stay on for the full 90 despite a first half yellow. Connolly starting for Middlesbrough (ahead of Arsenal wunderkid Balogun), and both Clarke (of course) and Molumby starting for West Brom.

Connolly subbed off for Balogun. Middlesbtough fans about as enthusiastic about him as Aberdeen fans for Jenks. "League 2 at best" and calls for him to be taken off before half tume. He's got his work cut out there ..............

And yet, looking at the stats, Balogun had a significantly worse performance, even considering the shorter time on the pitch...

I guess some of them had been checking him out on NSC (and probably other social media) and felt it was their right to sneer - whereas Balogun, on the other hand, was a prospect from the Arsenal, so he must be good!
Such is the shallowness of some supporters (and apparantly the BBC reporter). Still, I must admit I was concerned about how Connolly's loan would turn out when they signed Balogun too - it was obviously going to make it harder for him to get game time.
