Van Hecke back from injury and straight into Blackburn's starting XI today
He's been injured, I think - isn't that his first start at Blackburn?

What's happened to Sima? and Ostigard no longer getting into starting 11....
Sima injured, I believe. Ostigard seems to have slipped down the pecking order - don't know why, he was certainly getting good reviews earlier in the season.

You're looking for someone to be able to genuinely compete with Webby or Burn for a place next season, so you'd want them to be able to keep James Chester out in a Championship side. I reckon we'll move him on in the summer

James Chester is a 32 year old with 35 caps and PL experience - and would have had more if it were not for quite a few injuries. It is a bit disappointing though, especially after a bright start - the fans seemed very enthusiastic about their back three (including Ostigard) eaarlier in the season.

Playing snooker
Jensen Weir finally gets a league start in midfield for Cambridge United at home to Sheffield Massive in League 1 tonight.

Getting on the ball plenty so far and making an accomplished start with a lot of neat touches.

EDIT:
Cambridge 1 up after 16 minutes :clap2:
Come on Jensen, make that shirt yours!

Did he do enough to keep the shirt?

Time to bin him off? Or have a bit of fun - make him earn his last half season's worth of mega-dosh by playing in League 2 somewhere horrible - Carlisle, Hartlepool or Barrow (if anyone will take him!) would do .....................

I think he's got another season after this one - 5 year contract, wasn't it? Does the player has to have some sort of buy in to their loans as well?

It's a shame he doesn't seem to fit in. I enjoyed watching his nasty edge, particularly the way he'd intentionally foul his opposite man within a minute or two of coming on, and he scored some vitally important goals in the 18/19 season.
