One short?
There's no way we're one short.
Remember this isn't about straight up fighting, this is protecting teammate and club honour.

Stockdale
Bruno
Greer
Calderon
Kazbong
Kayal
Stephens
Hemed
Uwe
Bobby (bless him)
Crofts.

An embarrassment of riches.

Reading this thread while charting the last few seasons makes me think TA was 100% correct.

An unscheduled :bounce: for this thread, but if ever there's a time for it to make sense, it's after yesterday.

Stockdale
Calde
Greer
Bruno
Stephens
Kayal
March
Bobby
Tomer (he's move in and out of this list 3 times since I started writing)

All to a man bleed blue and white strips, they clearly believe in each other and the club.
Back to back ultimate team performances.

The only reason

Dunk
Murphy

aren't in the top 9 (nine) is because I don't want to get carried away.

I think you may be getting carried away after yesterday :lolol:

Stockdale
Calde

Uwe
Bong
Stephens
Kayal
Tomer
Crofts
LuaLua
Baldock (small man syndrome)

We're covered

We are indeed, but I comfortably made 7 just from the players on the pitch, yesterday.

March clearly ain't taking no sh*t against The Albion.
He may well go down like a sack of pooh the moment someone looks at him funny, but he'll go down swinging.

Which is the whole point.

Go back to posts around the 80's and there's at least 10 players who aren't even swinging, from a near relegation team.

Time for the customary post transfer window bounce.

Do we have 7 loonies that'll fight tooth and nail for the stripes?

Nice and simple - YES.
I think the defense alone can almost cover this thread

Stockdale
Bruno - captain
Goldson
Duffy (I assume)
Bong
Kayal
Sidwell
Skalak
Hemed

Thinking about it, it'll be easier to list those unlikely to get involved in a nasty tunnel rumpus.

My top 7 in order:

1. Kayal
2. Bruno
3. Rosenior
4. Skalak
5. Hemed
6. Dunk
7. Knockaert

But you're right - the dressing room is full of them.

Nah the job of the wet lettuces is to get Knockaert the fudge out of Dodge.

There's no way, no matter how much he wants to be in the middle, AK should be anywhere near the ruck.
He's the 'standard' they will be after.

That's not the point.
A la Ulloa and Vicente before him, he's just to valuable to have x months off with rabies!!

I think Stephens might be a bit short tempered and ready to go off on one at the moment too!
Would he be a danger to them or us

Out of interest why do people think Hemed makes this list? Have I missed a violent display of loyalty at any point?
Just can't see him rolling over and having his tummy tickled if esp Kayal or Knocky are on the receiving end of naughties.
He's happy enough to put himself about a bit, and fills the squad shortfall in 'units'.

Knocky would DEFINITELY be in there, whether you'd want him in or not.#

Stephens, Sidwell, Kayal. Goldson.

I reckon Kayal, Stephens and Sidwell would be first in, followed by Dunk (if he hadn't started it with a rush of blood to the head 'tackle').

Duffy is definitely having some, he's got a bit of a dead eyed stare thing going on. Bong would bang some heads, while Goldson and Hunemeier will wade into the thick of things.

Hemed will be in the thick of it if Kayal or Knockaert are in danger.

Skalak's having some, even if he's not playing, he looks too much like a czech Travis Bickle to not get involved.

Murray might have a bit if it goes off near him but I can't see him sprinting fifty yards to join in. Knockaert on the other hand probably would...but only be involved in the fringes, bouncing around threateningly, darting in and out of range.

Lua Lua will be there but no one will really be sure if he's rucking or trying to separate people.

Stockdale, if it's within 30 yards of goal will have a bit of action but nothing too serious unless it's a cynical foul on one of his defenders.

Bruno will do some finger pointing and hey heying.

Norwood. Well he's northern Irish so you'd hope there's some fire in the belly, similarly with ROI Towell. Not to stereotype but the Irish love a tear up don't they?

Everybody else will be bustling about doing nothing of importance or just standing on the sideline swigging from the water bottles, chatting to the opposition bench.

So we've comfortably got seven and with players spilling over from the bench we could end up with a classic 25-30 man brawl.:guns:

How could I forget Skalak? He'd be the one to bring a KNIFE and make everyone else go woah woah woah. Look at those eyes. He's not all there.

Kayal
Skalak
Stephens
Sidwell
Dunk
Goldson
Knockaert

That's my 7.

Right. If we're simply talking about a straight forward tear up...

Skalak
Stockdale
Goldson
Duffy
Ince
Stephens
Sidwell

Those seven will get the job done.

If however we are talking about passion, determination and damn right pride the following seven in that order. EASY!

Bruno
Rosenoir
Knockhaert
Stockdale
Kayal
Hemed
Ankergren
