He will use the time to work intensively with his team, except that most of them are actually at the world cup or injured. Still, will be nice for the U23 squad.

No, me either. If he had left independently to go and work anywhere else, he would have been wished well, as Liam Rosenior was, as Nathan Jones was. Leaving clutching Potters coat tails was a bit painful.

The thing is, he'll probably come out ok in the end. It's why there was so much bouncing of threads and tension between the "in" and "out" on here during our really bad spells. Potterball takes time to learn and it takes technical players who want to improve themselves. That could take a few windows when you have a club stuffed with overpaid prima donnas. So, will he really be given that time? Boehly says so at the moment but their fans are fuming after a couple of months.

Meanwhile, Chelsea will be the little girl with the curl. Either very, very good or horrid. And their last four games have been horrid.

Of them, Spurs, United and Liverpool could probably have tolerated more of a slow build-up, but Chelsea have shown time and again they’re all about instant results and the last few games always count more for / against the manager there than anywhere else. And he’d have almost certainly got a crack at at least one of them had he waited.

But no, first chance he got he jumped, even though it was a terrible choice. And he’ll end up paying the price, through alienating their fans and ruining his (well deserved) reputation.

Essentially, he could have waited and ended up with Scarlett Johansson, but instead he jumped the gun and went home with Anne Widdicombe.

The lack of “job guarantee” was the clubs and Brunos way of trying to soften the blow that he was part of Chelsea’s enticement.

Ironically if Bruno had stayed he would have elevated himself from legend to some god like status, and can you imagine both him and De Zerbi on the touchline, it would have been absolute carnage in a beautiful way !

More like, would TB employ a new manager that gets rid of everything and everyone associated with the clubs previous managers (that's managers) and held up by the fans as a legend to the point where he's got a bloody lounge named after him?

Yes. Imo.

That's why we have experienced BHAFC coaches in the RDZ set up.

I'm bored of the whole booing Potter nonsense - We may not agree, but I believe we wouldn't be where we are without Potter, and although the timing and the move stung like hell, a section of our fanbase are coming off like bitter exes - we're so much better than that. Good luck to him - he's earned his crack at the "big time", and if it doesn't work, well, it's not our problem is it - we've got BBDZ who at the moment seems like an upgrade. I'm thankful for what Potter did for us, and I am keeping an eye on Chelsea's progress, but I won't revel in his struggles.
