A bit like Palace, they can only fill their ground when in the Premier League. Average attendance in the Championship was lower than ours every season.

Not quite every season.

For the 2005/6 season Palace had an average attendance of 19,457 compared to Brighton’s 6,802.

And again in the 2011/12 season Palace had an average attendance of 15,219 compared to Brighton’s 7,352.

Prick! 2005/6? The capacity at Withdean was?

Attendance % vs capacity would be interesting

You think we had average attendance of 7352 the year we went to the Amex [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]

Priceless and deluded

So, as my original post said, you didn’t fill your ground in the Chanpionship.

Same as Dirty Leeds.

Nope. But Leeds might relegate Leeds.

Yes, rather odd thread.

Could we, instead, be the straw that breaks the camel's back?

No, probably not.

However, I didn't get where I am today by hiding a stitch in time under a bushel.

Also, with the arrival of Mr Putdown, this has turned into an attendance willy-waving contest, with Palace currently waving the smallest willy. When you take % attendance into consideration, our willy is bigger when flaccid than their willy when erect.

The first comparison is when we were playing in a converted athletics stadium with temporary seats (used at the British Open golf in the summer), no roof and most importantly a capacity of around 7,000.

The second comparison is just wrong. 2011/12 was our first season in a partially-constructed Amex when average home attendance was just over 20,000.

Would you take any of their players if they went down? Of course raphinha will go to a top 4 club but asides from that only
Bamford would improve our squad.

A 3 point gap could be enough, seeing as Leeds have such a bad GD.

The last thing Leeds Utd need is a ‘top four’ EPL away table side, especially one with the recent record we have at Elland Road. “Pie in their pocket”? More like a packet of handy andies to soak up the bitter northern tears when we send them packing.

On MOTD after Liverpool beat them, Marsch said it was the best team in the world against the best club in the world

Odd thing to say. Leeds are both, aren't they ?
