I really like the one liner type comedians, so Milton Jones & Stewart Francis are my current faves. But, for sketches and such like, Ronnie Barker has yet to be surpassed.

I went to see Kevin Bridges on Monday and he was brilliant! Also seen Mickey Flanagan recently and he was brilliant too. My fave is probably Lee Evans, his action and voices send me to pieces for some reason!!

Agree with all of these

Flanagan and Bridges at the mo for me. Those of you saying Macintyre, surely that is some sort of sick joke?

but seriously, Tommy Cooper, Arthur Askey and the Goons from days gone by.

Eddie Izzard, Peter Kay, Victoria Wood, Micky Flanagan and Stewart Lee

I enjoy a lot of comedians off the tv and DVDs, so the main pretenders for me.....

Lee Evans
Micky Flanagan
Jack Dee
Lee Mack
Reg D Hunter
Ed Byrne
Paul Merton (havent seen his stand up for yonks but v v good on HIGNFY)
Tim Vine
Stu Francis (saw him at corn exchange last year and had me in tears)
Milton Jones (same as above)
Jim Jefferies ( saw him last year and was fcuking hilarious, that impressed I even bought the dvd)

I saw Kevin Bridges on Monday at the dome and was brilliant, the first time I've had sore eyes from wiping tears and a sore throat from laughing)

His warm up act, Damian Clark? (i think was also excellent but also pretty much unheard of,)
