Eddie Izzard is the funniest guy I've ever seen live. My favourite videos / CDs were Bill Hicks.

Miles Jupp, Vic n Bob, Eric Morecambe, Ben Elton and Emo Phillips all deserve mentions too.

Ricky Gervais. Not necessarily his stand-up routine. Always enjoyed the first series or 2 of Stella Street. Who was responsible for that again..Phil Cornwall?

For comedy timing - Bernard Manning(past). I know he was an arse for obvious reasons but he had genuine talent. When i was younger a mate of mine found a vhs of Manning doing stand-up in some northern working man's club. I just remember us both rolling around watching it. Times have changed and rightly so but he did have something about him.

I'm presuming you must be an American as you can neither spell favourite nor use the word your in its proper context?

I went to see Kevin Bridges on Monday and he was brilliant! Also seen Mickey Flanagan recently and he was brilliant too. My fave is probably Lee Evans, his action and voices send me to pieces for some reason!!
