An incredible effort.Even given the investment on the playing side.
Truth is....Whitehawk are a County League club......with a County League ground.

My worry is that when the fall comes.......which it inevitably will........the Fred Moores,John Rosenblatts,Keith Collingbournes and Alan Heads won't have the energy to pick up the pieces.

Ted,Ned,Goyle and Mr King will be long gone.

Still well done though!
Whitehawk nearly in the Conference.
Incredible.
wheel sea!

Top day out apart from the result. Far too many drinks today :drink:
Weatherspoons taken over and didn't hear the Boringwood fans in the ground.

Whitehawk goalkeeper was attacked at the end of the match by some coward :tosser:
Place full of wannabe chavs, I'm glad I live in Newhaven.

There were many chavs, i agree with that. No menane n the crowd at all though that i saw of felt. I did see the keeper fall tothe ground when he got to the sidelines after the whistle. Did someone hit him?

There was plenty of decent Borehamwood fans that came to see their team. Not really sure why after winning the match one had to rugby tackle the Whitehawk keeper to the ground.
This isn't the first time this has happened, in 2010 in a match against Kingstonian at Borehamwood a Kingstonian player was attacked by a fan on the pitch.

Sounded a close game and Whitehawk gave it their all, I hope they keep the structure their and push for automatic next season, its a shame as it would have been funny to have Tranmere, Wrexham and Torquay visiting next year.

Gotta be honest, Whitehawk blew it massively yesterday.

Was probably among their poorest performances of the season (poorest of half dozen I've seen) but even then they should have won. The penalty was fortunate - looked a dive by Kissock - but then in injury time Jake Robinson had the keeper diving full stretch and he could only flap it a Whitehawk player 3 yards out - who ballooned over the bar.

I'm not sure I've ever seen such a comedy miss have such big consequences.

I felt Steve King panicked a bit with his substitutions - Boreham scored their two goals very soon after his shake-ups.

Sometimes a manager can try too hard and he has to look at himself and not just ear bash his players for a poor performance.

I think it will take them a while to get over this disappointment but obviously the season has done Hawks a lot of good in profile and crowd enthusiasm. Hope they can push on next.

Last season Boreham Wood had even lower crowds than Whitehawk averaging only about 140 a game.
People always jump on the bandwagon when non league teams get to a final or play offs.
Lets hope for your sake that Whitehawk keep a few and
don't go back to the 200 a game like the start of this season
