Just England for me, I had a tenuous link to the Welsh (Great Grandmother), and an uncle in Australia, but I don't think that counts for anything.

I'm shackled to the cowardly lions unfortunately.

:(

Bunch of Mudbloods the lot of you!

Pure English me (which probably makes me a Heinz 57 with our history) unless you go back a 1000 years when we invaded your little island with Uncle William.

I could play for England. No, really, after last night I genuinely think I could make the team.

Interesting to see the diversity of nations on here.
I could only play for England as I think it is only where you Grandparents were born, two Great Grandparents were from Malta, but Grandfather was born here even though he lived in Malta for his early years.

In one of the early John LeCarré novels, he has a MI-6-ish character declare that if you want to create a really believable legend for an agent who's supposed to be British, you can't do better than give him a foreign-sounding name.

Just England for me, I'm pure British beef. Although great-grandparents were French & Italian.
