"A Fistful of Dollars" or variations thereof, "The Good the Bad and the Ugly" or "For a Few Dollars More". Also love the music for them all by Ennio Morricone. Seen each of them so many times but only when they are broadcast on TV. Never intend to watch them each time they are on but I cant resist a peek even if they are already halfway through and as soon as I hear that music I'm hooked and watch till the end. I've always wanted to own a green fringed poncho like that worn by Eastwood in that trilogy. I know I'd look a tw@t walking the streets of Brighton wearing it, but I wouldn't care. In the words of that famous 20th century philosopher Adam Ant "ridicule is nothing to be scared of". I've become immune to it since I was sent out onto the Victoria Park Football pitch in 1971 when I was a lad wearing a pair of football boots from the 1930s with studs fashioned out of wine bottle corks as I revealed yesterday in the "what football boots did you wear as a yoof" thread.

Probably the original Star Wars trilogy closely followed by Jason and the Argonaughts.

Very soon I'll have to add Casino Royale (Daniel Craig) to Cool Runnings, it's not quite got there yet, but getting close.

Mary Poppins. I bloody love that film. Maybe Team America: World Police or Airplane too, & the Usual Suspects (had to watch that loads to understand what the hell was going on).

I remember as a teenager watching Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves dozens of times on video. I could almost recite the script word for word. When I saw a bit of it again recently I was amazed to note just how crap it actually was :lolol:

Mary Poppins - best film ever made. It is actually a socialist parable.

I have alse repeatedly watched the usual suspects. Stunning.

Free Willie..........because my youngest daughter used to put the video on in the lounge twice a day for 3 years. Even just nipping in and out of the room I've worked it out that I must have watched it 40 times.

Another one for Blues Brothers

Just recently attended a ceremony that gave "confidence" in the previous appointment of these two police administrators in Elwood, Illinois. That is the town just south of Joliet, Illinois that Elwood Blues was named after.

The police chief of Joliet has a picture on his wall that shows an Illinois State Police car landing on top of a 18 wheel lorry that was part of the Blues Bros movie.

Here's a replica police car from the movie that I took a pic of this summer in Arlington Heights, Illinois:

Quadraphenia - the film is like a drug to me!!

The Italian Job (original version) - I think I just love to hate the ending, the only film I know that seemed to be made for a follow up Italian Job 2, that just never happened!

Zulu - who can't enjoy this EVERY Christmas.

The Great Escape - Another xmas goodie

Escape to victory - what footie fan cannot be addicted to this Roy of the Rovers treat

Kellys Heroes - Clint Eastwood and a host of other stars at their best!

One flew over the Cuckoos nest - Jack Nicholson, amazing acting, brilliant film.

Here
Cinema Paradiso - about 8 times, usually at Christmas for some reason
Deliverance - maybe 4 times, slightly worrying too - what is it that keeps drawing me back???
Shawshank Redemption - pretty obvious, just a great great film - seen it 6 times
Babette's Feast - maybe 4 times - just love the dark wintery setting and the gentle humour
Repulsion - Still trying to overcome the fear I felt when I first saw this when I was 16 - 5 times
Pulp Fiction - Tarantino at his very best and Uma Therman to die for - also re-defined John Travolta's career ...lost count of the number of times Ive seen all or parts of it
Chicago - again, Coen Bros. at their very best - superbly understated, beautifully filmed and a totally standout performance from Frances McDormand - again - lost count

ET - The Extraterrestrial - plus 50 times
Close Encounters of the Third Kind - plus 25 times
Schindler's List, Saving Private Ryan, Indiana Jones films - at least 5 times apart from 4, 4 times
Most Spielberg films - up to 5 times

Non Spielberg

The last Indiana Jones film was the most disappointing experience I've had with clothes on.
