Could we use 2:34 from this song. Its to the tune of Crying by Roy Orbison. It gives me goosebumps and I can really imagine it as a football chant. Also "Llorando" fits with "Vicente" and its in spanish (the words might need a tweek to not sound stupid).

@ 2:34 Something like:

Vii-iii-ceeeente, por tu amor
Vii-iii-ceeeeente, por tu amor

And then from 3:04

Vii-cee-ente, Vii-cee-ente, Vii-ceeeeeee-nte, Vii-ceeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee-ente

Tbh I think there is lots of epic football song potential in this tune.

Like it, haunting and would sound awesome echoing around our ground.

It would work I guess, but that song is sh*t especially song by those bints.

Personally I prefer, as said above... Vicente woah, plays in blue & white, 'effin dynamite"

The Na na is already used too often.
not looking good for consensus here...

I don't like the "f***ing" lyric as it will prevent approximately 70% of the crowd from really enjoying belting out a song of praise for Vicente...

I didn't realise that the na na na na hey hey(kiss him goodbye) tune was already in use. I thought I'd come up with an original bit of chanting magic. Oh well. Although, vicente rodriguez fits in much better than hey hey brighton and hove albion.

These threads always descend into 6 plus pages of song ideas that never get sung. The NSK or whoever else starts chants need to decide on one(decent) chant and start doing it until everyone else catches on.

Keep it simple.

To the tune of Rock and Roll Part 2 by the Glitter Band

Swap Rock and Roll Hey! Rock and Roll

for

Vincete Hey! Vincete

Simple and it fits.

Doesn't fit though, not really, as the stress in the Glitter song is very much on the third syllable, whereas in Vicente's name it's on the second.

That song works a million times better for Calderon, even more so as it sounds vaguely like the original title when you sing it.

Should probably just be Viva España, la la la la, la la la la la/ Y viva Vicente (or "Vicente Rodriguez").

Vicente, Vicente Rodriguez runs down the wing for me. It fits perfectly.

But it doesn't does it? Vicente Rodriguez is 6 syllables- that tune is made for 5 syllable names such as:- Elliot Bennett and William Buckley.

how about somebody shouts Viva then big response of Vi - cen - te (with similar timing to the horrible Obama chant Yes We Can). Then just keep repeating. Its very simple and quite mindless. Perfect.
