Should we now start looking at a co-ordinated effort to get copies to MPs and MEPs? That alone will add nearly a thousand copies to overall sales....it's got to be worth it-so long as it doesn't get seen as chart-rigging. Anybody on here know if that would be the case?

I've ordered a few copies but am more than happy to buy one more to have sent to Parliament. Loads of us sent flowers which cost a hell of a lot more than £3.99 + p&p and this could get us so much publicity.

I suggest listing all the MPs who signed the EDM (can someone do this? ) and people who want to go for this simply pick the name of the MP they want to send the single to, post it here so it's not duplicated, then do so c/o House of Commons.....

As i posted on the other thread, Sally Gunnell should be talking about it/playing a bit tonight on BBC South East News. Courier just picked up CD/poster/press release from me (came all the way from TW to the Wick so they must be keen) Feedback please from those who see it. We get the Southampton one of course.

Can we start a seperate sticky item so people can list who they are going to send a copt to as to not duplicate.I don`t know how so i am sure one of you do.If we could list them out and put a tick by the name of the one we are sending to that would be even better.
I presume all we do is when the singles reach us we send one copy to our designated person, put his name on top of the letter and underneath put c/o house of commons is that enough.

You can buy one seperately & send to another address if you want.

Ill do Mr Parmjit Dhanda, Labour, Gloucester

Could we for example order a copy say on Amazon, and get them to dispatch it direct to the MP at house of commons, or would they not do that? Just an idea?

This is on the HMV site:

HMV is pleased to confirm that it will donate profits from the sale of Band Aid 20's 'Do They Know It's Christmas' to the Band Aid Trust

Can we talk them into doing the same for Tom Hark-donate prfits to either A&K or the Band Aid thing. If it could be donated to A&K great-if to the Band Aid appeal they'd get extra publicity and so would we......Just a thought.

Have you seen the latest review on the Amazon site?

"One Star: Is this the worst single ever?, December 8, 2004
Reviewer: cagoul from Seagull City, Florida

Attila will be known to many for his annual Christmas hits, and who among us doesn't own at least one copy of "Mistle toe and wine", "Danny Boy", "Waterloo" or "The Birdy Song". Sadly this year, the youthful genius has well and truely lost his way with this awful cover of a traditional Bahaman Christmas song. "
