Khadra and Van Hecke v Connolly . It should be worth watching . Khadra is the interesting player as he is playing well in a promotion pushing team .

Yes, looking forward to it - eagerly awaited on the Loanee thread as well. I wonder if Connolly has ever met Van Hecke before, or trained with/against him?

Connolly's contribution so far is a yellow card.

Really scrappy, old-skool style hoofing and crunching-challenge football. Either of these would struggle big time in the top flight.

Very poor quality game, Khadra looks promising though - Connolly less so......

Yeah this,

I know it's 50 mins of one game, on the telly, with the players having to fit in with less good teammates but Khadra looks about 10 times a better player than Connolly. If I had to pick one of the two to let go it'd be bye bye Aaron every single time on this evidence.

Connolly's smashed Lenihan in the nose, blood everywhere.

Somewhat fortunate to still be on the pitch.

Vile little club, Boro. I wish them and their rancid fans nothing but pain and obscurity.

In other news, Gaston Ramirez, he of the hanging-off shin, is now turning out for Monza in Serie B.

Medical emergency in crowd. Responders in really quickly. Game suspended. Great response from Blackburn stewards
