I swerved that thread, wrongly presuming it would be a load of Mrs Brown’s Boys lickers.

One of those rare threads for which I tempted to "thumbs up" nearly every post!

Similar to several other threads but, with a nod to the poster from Shepherd Neame country who likes big/rarely seen words, I suggest excessive use of hyperbole. For example, a row of mundane looking flats being built on a site that I drive by fairly regularly are described on the agent's board outside as a "stunning development".
