closed season music binge continues with a heads up on superb moshcam coverage of the Weddos gig in Sydney earlier this year.

roll on August Bank holiday weekend

whole gig is up on the site, here's one of the many highlights (complete with a shout of 'Seagulls' at the start which sounds suspiciously like my mate in exile in Sydney)

Great band. Dalliance a personal favourite. The whole George Best album...

Brighton - In your face
I got my first moshgash for 18 years last year at the Edge of the sea (the Holmfirth pit was way more mental though). He's still got it, has our Gedge. For those fans who havent seen it, try and spot the 29 WP references in this (what Goodfella was referring to earlier).

Allegedly 'The Smiths' were every Wedding Present fan's 2nd favourite band

I'm from further south than you

I'd never really given them too much consideration, heard them, didn't dislike them, then had tickets to see them in Manchester on thier last tour. They were going to be playing the whole of Bizzaro start to finish, so I bought a copy in advance to get a bit of familiarity, and the show was superb. Loads of middle aged types, all loving it, the band were really tight, the show was sold out, makes you wonder how come they didn't/don't have a little more recognition, I get the feeling they are a bit of a marmite band .

Where on earth did you hear that?

It's a joke for 40 somethings blessed/cursed with encyclopedic knowledge of late 1980's music journalism
