.

Going with a mate who's an avid Lancing fan to, you guessed it, Lancing...

Just looked at the table...They look like they are up a stretch of water without a rowing implement

Peacehaven 2-2 Newhaven- good game, Newhaven on top in the first half, Peacehaven came good in second half a draw probably a fair result.

Hard to say what the crowd was, I’m guessing 300+

Another chaotic Littlehampton game this morning at Pagham. Trailing 2-1 and heading into injury time, with Saltdean poised to take over at the top of the league, Benn and Gaskin both scored late on to take their combined tally this season to 101 goals and earn three points for The Golds. Two points clear and with a GD advantage of 7 over Saltdean, a draw at home to 4th paced Bexhill on Saturday should be enough to secure the title on the final day.

Little Common V Bexhill United this morning where the visitors were 2-1 winners . Despite their loss today Little Common are guaranteed their highest ever league finish .

With Newhaven drawing today Bexhill United have a chance of finishing third if they can avoid defeat in their final match away at Littlehampton Town next Saturday

For a well supported team like Bexhill playing in their local derby at Little Common, there seem to be surprisingly few fans present if your pics are anything to go by.

Something to do with it being a Bank Holiday Monday morning kick off presumably.

Attendance of 356, apparently. Which is three times their average and almost double their previous highest crowd of the season. Just under 500 at Pagham and some big crowds elsewhere, too, by County league standards.

Hawks 0 Haywards Heath 0

Looks like Hawks have secured their place in the league for next year. We won't be off to Newhaven or Peacehaven next season. Although they would have been nice outings. Hopefully some pre-season friendlies or a Senior Cup game though.

I quite fancied Steyning Town away.

Attendance 418. Non league footie ROCKS.

Burgess Hill
Over 500 to watch Burgess Hill play out a 2-2 draw with Chichester City. Very late equaliser for Chi but a point each a fair result. At 38, Pat Harding played his last game for Hill today.

I keep an eye on the Sussex sides that are higher up in the Non League pyramid.

Interesting to see Eastbourne Borough had 3 players sent off at Havant & Waterlooville today - after the dismissals they went from 0-0 to a 3-0 loss !

Horsham 3 Wothing 1 in front of 1850 + fans , Worthing well represented by travelling numbers but not the highest home gate of the season.
Worthing went 1 up with a hoofball from the keeper which took the Horsham defence flat footed before rebels CB sent off for 2nd yellow ( could have been a straight red if nearer to goal. The Horsham man was away and free. Another Ref and they could have been down to 9 as very niggles.
3 great strikes saw the good guys home and dry.

basically a mirror image of the reverse fixture when Horsham were 1-0 up, got a player sent off and Worthing ended up winning 3-1
