Seems like good timing to reveal a response I had from Paul Barber when I asked why we don't use an algorithm to make the selection process as fair as possible - i.e.

Game 1
1,2,3,4

Game 2
4,3,2,1

Game 3
3,4,1,2

Game 4
2,1,4,3

Then just continue rotating those 4 permutations throughout the season.

As frustrating as it is (as above I have been drawn 3-3-3) his response makes complete sense. This is just the least imperfect way to do it.

Decent response to be fair. There’s no fully equitable way of doing it.........

3, 4 now 1 so good news for us. Question for those that went to the Sheff game...How close was the photo ID checked. My...ehm...*cough* friend is asking as the ticket is in his older daughters name but the younger one would like to attend in her sisters place?

I suppose it depends on how you value your season ticket, sorry how you friend values their season ticket

Maybe but that chance in tier 4 is 0.0000000001%
So effectively zero

I meant the exchange - doesn’t matter what tier you’re in if you get one on there...!

Might get a ticket for this without relying on the exchange...

Your idea would make things worse I believe as tiers would be equal nos. With 24,000 season tickets (for example) 6000 in each tier so only 1/3rd of tier ones would get ticket in the scramble. whereas now if you are in tier one you are I believe guaranteed a ticket!

4-2-4 for me !! No tickets yet .
