Was travelling to Bruge the other day, went through an absolute torrent of rain, got lost then had to drive back through it again....of course it caught us up again by the time we got to Bruges. doh !

It's an easy place to get lost!

Haywards Heath
Haywards Heath Broadway Music street party avoided the rain finished with Firworks however all week the weather forcasters had predicted rain Sunday which probably cost some ticket sales and as usual Tim French put on a great event with The Bohemians Queen at the best, finishing off after an hour of Mainly Madness Two Tone & Ska with no rain. This may be Tim french Last waves on Broadway. Great street party .

Loads of spectacular flashes, rumbles of thunder, and now beginning to rain quite heavily in Ovingdean. It's been great watching it coming in from the channel.

I always get lost despite a sat nav, its kind of like a tradition. Bruges itself is fairly easy, the two big spires are a handy orientation point... however, after a few Belgian beers it does become appreciably harder. The Rochefort 10 being one of the best/worst for squididiling one's compass.

It always seems to come near the west of the county, then bog off and hit Kent.

I was on the sea front at about 10:30 and the light show was amazing, the rain came for a spell but nothing too major - very heavy drops but it didn't fall for too long. By 11:30ish it was over.

Quite a light show here on the south Kent coast. I drive back from Eastbourne at about 9pm this evening and could see a constant show of flashes out in the channel.

We've got the rain as well now although not as heavy as it was 30 minutes ago.
