Bollocks. He was put in an unneccessary arm-lock by a psycho who jogged at least twenty metres for no other reason than to try out his arm-lock skills on a sappy bloke who was already being wimpily led off by two non-psycho stewards who had the situation completely under control. There is NO defence for that.

May I suggest that anyone with evidence (not opinions) as to what happened, makes a complaint to the club/police so that the matter can be investigated officially. They can then make the evidence available to the authorities.

Stop whinging, for f**ks sake - judging by this and some of your other posts this evening you need to step away from the computer, go and have a bit of fresh air or something. Season's over now, chill out.
Anyway, as a response steward he had to go to where the problem was and get involved. I doubt very much that he did it for the fun of it - however much you wish he did.

Just sticking up for the underdog matey. Don't believe a sappy pitch-invader who is undoubtedly in the wrong and who has been duly apprehended bang-to-rights and who will no doubt be given a ban and/or fine should then be attacked by a pumped-up psychotic cuuunt for no other reason than he was getting his private kicks out of it. And note there's not a single other steward making any attempt to defend his actions in any way whatsoever. Says it all really.

Didn't see the incident. Can't comment about it but once again the stewards in the family stand were TOPS.
Lots of newcomers to a packed family stand and whilst I was queueing with my 2 boys to go onto the running track to take part in the penalty shoot out thingy I overheard one blatantly collar a bloke who looked lost. The steward without warning asked if he needed help, escorted him to his seat and also pointed out to his kiddie Gully, the penalty shoot out and Dean Cox who the kiddie was asking about.
Also a few big parties in the stand and the stewards were forewarned and assisted the groups ensuring that everyone was sat together and happy.
The bastards do this sort of thing every game. Who do they think they are, eh?

The only bit of real violent activity I saw today was before the game when one of the younger ball boys got absolutely twated in the head by a ball from the Brighton players warming up.
You may have noticed them all congregate behind the goal before the match to protect us in the disabled and family areas getting pelted with balls
Not only did it hit him in the head, but the force of it knocked him flying.
Sullivan came running out onto the track in front of the disabled area and seeing the lad was in distress put his arm round him and gave him a hug.
Thankfully the kid seemed to recover quite quickly, but he'll have one hell of a headache in the morning

He was funny when you think about it - boasting about how seriously he took it and his great achievements, for an organized team against a cobbled together lot of amateurs, plus female players, and all of whom had been on their feet all day, and a couple who were already carrying injuries!
