Still got a feeling we'll sneak through, if not then I shall be rooting for Chile for no other reason then I've enjoyed watching them.

Having watched the first few games in Dubrovnik I'd be tempted to say Croatia but hearing monkey chants in a bar during their opening match has put me off them somewhat...

Unless we believe in miracles, England are out. I do not feel the same disappointment as in previous years, probably because I never really expected much. Italy for me.

I thought they were fantastic V Spain but average V Australia. I will go for a pro Europe approach and support Germany, as half their side is from other European countries (plus Africa too!)

Have money on Italy and West Germany so them.

I'm surprised they allowed bets on a republic that ceased to exist 24 years ago.

For me, it's either Holland or Germany (to appease Mrs Grombleton)

Very much a big fat MEH from me with no further interest in the competition to be honest - certainly won't be cheering on any one, exception might be the team playing against Germany, whoever that might be.

I never did support England in the first place, supporting my NSC sweepstake team Switzerland, who (which i wouldnt have thought of happening) have a better chance of getting out of their group than England !!
