Absoulutely hammering it down in Eastbourne this morning, covering on everything, at least 5cm, was this forecast??

Ive driven from Portslade to Burgess Hill this morning and the A23 , then clayton hill were nightmares, i couldn't see any markings or where the verge was and it was hammering down, got to hassocks and it all turned to rain!!

3-4 inches in Hastings with traffic problems at Little Common, Battle and A27 at Brighton with a severe weather warning for this afternoon. I'm staying warm!

Stuck in Crowborough and can't get to work. Gave it a try but passed about 20 cars/lorries stuck in the snow and gave up. If anyone is planning on driving on the A26 through crowborough forget it!
