Isnt it virtually signed and sealed for him to go to Reading permanently in January as part of the loan deal.

Sami's comments once again show his inexperience as a manager. He SHOULD have been working with the strikers to improve their scoring rate for some time, but no need to share with the press, is there?

At the end of my tether
I agree that this is worry ing , as Jamie said:

"I listened to the post match interview on Radio Sussex after the Blackburn game. In it Sami was being questioned about a forward coming in on loan and when that may occur. Sami stated "that was not his decision"....

This is a bloody disaster. Search for a striker? There's one currently living in Brighton who used to play with half the current side, is unwanted by his parent club and has tweeted he might be looking to make a loan deal permanent.

1. Free up a loan berth - get rid of Al-Habsi. We've got Walton, if anything happens then Ankegren is in. Whatever. Our need for a striker is greater.
2. Pay the wages of the best you can get to keep us somewhere near mid-table and in with a sniff.
3. Get Murray and Bennett in the next window and put some goddam soul back in the side.

Except perhaps try to sell Stockdale in January and bring in Al Habsi.

It took nearly two seasons to find one striker that can play to our system so is it not time to change the system best suited to the strikers we had/got.

"Burnley's development squad have just beaten Sheffield Wednesday 1-0 in a game that was not behind closed doors with Wednesday allowing spectators to attend at their Middlewood Road training ground. The only goal of the game came just past the quarter hour when a Ross Wallace, who it was reported looked lovely in the opening stages, was volleyed home by Barnes."

Just to rub it in another one of our ex-strikers scores....today..

Spot on. It's insanely illogical that Glenn Murray is not currently a BHAFC player.
