I’m going for a 7 item brekkie later.
Egg, bacon, sausage, beans, toast, black pudding and mushrooms.
Is that the standard 7 do you think ?
I'd say so. It omits tomatoes in any form...which is of course correct....and it includes black pudding which is of course also correct. I can just about tolerate grilled tomatoes but anyone who thinks those watery tinned plum tomatoes is a good idea needs to give their head a wobble.

optional extras fried bread, white pudding.

Eggs and beans have no place together on the same plate. It's an absolute crime TBH.

However, sausage (Wicky's Lincolnshire are great), chips and beans is the dinner of champions. I'm having it tomorrow

I still can't make my mind up on this. I can see the positives and the negatives. I'm just never quite sure how to eat from one though. Or should it be emptied onto the plate? In which case what is the point?

Lot's to think about.

Forget your fine dining. Anyone adverse to this staple in the British diet.
don't forget the fried slice and fried tomatoes with two of everything...but not black pudding, that tastes like congealed blood! ???
Like baked beans on a jacket potato.

Loath them in a grill up, the same with tomatoes.

Hash, bacon, sausage and fried eggs is my perfect combo.
Meh, a potato should be roasted or chipped

Better than I thought but what is “modified cornflour”? How do they modify it? Do they cover it in human piss? Too vague to be good.
They burn it.

All about choices. I like my chips with a bit of bean juice, but don't want them anywhere near the egg, so I'd rather position them myself than have them randomly dumped on the plate - so yes, empty it but there is a point

I see it everywhere down here on the Costa Blanca. I’m sure it must come under the heading of “Mediterranean diet.”

Why no bacon, mushrooms, fried bread, fried tomatoes, etc…?
