At Home
That we will be signing Steve Thomson from Falkirk next week.
Though this may well be a wind up.

Steven Thomson (born 23 January 1978 in Glasgow) is a Scottish professional footballer currently playing for Scottish Premier League club Falkirk.

Thomson, a midfielder, previously played for English clubs Crystal Palace and Peterborough United.

Steven will be especially remembered by Crystal Palace fans for the stunning strike he scored in the clubs 3-0 victory over then Premiership side Leicester City in 2002.

He joined Falkirk in June 2005 and is currently captain of the club.

Posted seemingly by a Falkirk fan on brightonfans, the username being used on other scottish footy forums.

Quick scan of Falkirk boards implies that he is having a good season as the poster says.

In the field
He seems that he might be a good asset for us. He has experience playing in higher leagues both in England and Scotland, is only 30 which is nice as we dont usually seem to sign players unless they are very young or very old (Whing the recent exception. 25-30K is a decent fee for him if true shows that we do have a little bit of money to throw around which is good to see. Our midfield has lacked a bit of bite and especially now with suspensions to Hammond and Fraser. It seems that he is their club captain so that is also another plus i feel. Overall, another sign that DK will deliver what he promised.
