No chance of keeping a low profile, then. Just got to keep himself in the public glare. The Gus Poyet PR machine rolls on relentlessly.
Be glad when we are finally rid of this self-centred egotistical man who thinks he is the greatest thing since sliced bread.

Why shouldn't Gus do this gig ? Is he mean't to just crawl under a rock ? Life goes on.

With respect, Gus is probably the only Uruguayan ex international with good enough knowledge of the Uruguay team and the standard of English to articulate it.

Quite. If we batter him for this we may as well batter him for simply being alive.

I think this'll be match of the tournament with Spain winning. Got bets on Espana to win 3-1 (11/1) and David Villa first goal (9/2).

Whilst I no way am impressed with what GP has done 'off field', I was nonetheless impressed with what he had previously done 'on field'.
But, eg. not getting off his ar-- in the second play off semi final, when he certainly did not, tends me to be directed towards a belief that he was ' no longer interested ' in the Albion project.

Sadly, us mere mortals will probably never know what has gone on so all we can hope is that we will know 'the future' possibly by tomorrow by some accounts !

He will probably put his foot in it and slip up, can't help himself so should be interesting but whilst he will be the smiling joker that he portrays, he will be hurting inside with his pride and ego taking a well reminded knock . Sweet justice
