[Albion] Potter- what’s he up to?

For someone who has so carefully cultivated his career it’s all gone a bit wrong for Potter.

I have it from a very good source that he’s been in regular dialogue with West Ham and his and their assumption was he would take over from Moyes when his contract expired. Style wise that would have made sense but now it’s off the cards.

Had he stayed with us to the end of the season and continued to do well he would have been an absolute shoe in for the Spurs job, a job that would have given him way more time and patience than Chelsea.

Basically he got sucked in by a snake oil salesman from the US and it’s ruined all that hard work and careful planning. The Palace fans won’t warm to him and we will hate him for ever more. Ah well.

Interesting. I would love it if he went there, would make the rivalry become intense and interesting. Atmosphere certainly go up a notch. If he goes there, wow, ****. Still can’t stand him. Bbbooooo.

Yes, West Ham made so much sense for him and potentially them. However, he’s now having to reset his sights.
I always thought that Southampton would have been a good option for him with their squad making them a promotion favourite and being close to his home. However, guess his pride wouldn’t allow him to take a step back.
I’m sure he’d prefer it wasn’t Palace, but his options are starting to fade.

Next stop after Palace for the Hove commuter is Crawley Town

Was fun to watch today but surely Hodgson’s last game in charge of the scum? Was hoping he’d be there for the whole Season and guide them to relegation. Can‘t wait for all BHAFC faithful to give Potter (who was at the Arsenal game and may well be their next manager😂) a warm welcome in a couple of weeks - hoping it will be similar to his Chelsea experience at the Amex last Season 😂😂😂

I don't believe it. I reckon it's pure coincidence. As Matt Law says, he watches football. Going there would be crazy. BUT if he's lined up and does appear in the dug out in two weeks it's going to be quite the occasion. If he and his players found that match tough with Chelsea he hasn't seen anything yet.
Will without doubt be the most hostile the usually gentile Amex has ever been.
