In the game I watched he won virtually everything in the air
Sorry mate but NO WAY did he - from a good vantage point in the South I think he must have missed 90% of balls that came his way due to bad positioning or failure to get stuck in there!
And for what its worth I'd not had a drink all day due to anti-biotics!!
kuipers -4 - arguably at fault for all 3 goals and lucky to get away with it on a couple of other occasions
whing - 7- good defending, poor distribution
virgo -5 - lumps it time and time again
elphick - 6 - not bad
borrowdale - 7 - looked solid and tries to keep it on the floor
loft - 7 - did ok, unlucky to come off
fraser - 6 - not bad, but nothing much beyond effort
cox - 7- a few touches
dicker -5- nicely taken goal but otherwise dodgy
owuso - 5 - and doesn't look interested
davies -6- not much point in a striker who can't score
el abd -5- bad foul and not much else
hart -8- well, that w as a turn up. looked fit, good touch and made the goal well
andrew -6- not enough time to do much
slade -5- for his half time talk

us - 7 - got behind the team well at times, but marks taken off for early leaving
them - 5 - didn't sell out their end nor make much noise, but livened up a bit when their team caught fire

Sorry to go against the grain, but Loft was just far too light-weight yesterday. I wasn't too impressed with El Abd coming on, but I'm assuming Slade must have been looking for someone to start imposing himself on the midfield, as clearly no one else was - not even Fraser, and certainly not Loft.

I had to laugh at the marks in The Sun today. Two of their players got 8's and the rest got 7's. Our team had eight 5's and three 6's with Cox getting less than Kuipers. I know we lost but no way was it that one-sided.
