Bird flu 'could kill 150m people'

Experts fear birds will carry the virus across borders
A new flu pandemic could happen at any time and kill between 5-150 million people, a UN health official warned.

I knew a female pilot that died of that. The bird flu straight into a mountain...

I just can't get scared about a disease called bird flu. It just sounds so wimpy and naff. They knew how to name diseases in the old days, bubonic plague, now that was a proper name. Bird flu? Nah, I'm not dying of that it would be embarrassing.

It's really known as Avian H5n1 ... that sounds more sinister
