Silly old bat
Here in Ikealand, they eat pancakes every single Thursday after their Pea Soup, so the novelty wears off after a while :(

BUT! Today, instead of pancakes, they celebrate Fettisdagen (Fat Tuesday) by eating Semlor!

It's also called Fat Tuesday elsewhere - Mardi Gras.

It was to use up the fat, flour and eggs before Lent.

Sadly I'm on a low fat diet at the moment, so won't be partaking this year.

Otherwise, I'm a maple syrup lover, but also like lemon and sugar.

You all love pancakes so much, you eat them one day out of 366.

I won't be having any. My local shop has been selling eggs, flour, milk, sugar and lemons since before Christmas and I won't be taken in by the commercialisation of Pancake Day.
