Watched it last night, Corden came across as pretty decent and humble to be honest
he looked like he was going to cry at so many points in that interview, he seemed shocked to get the opertunity to work in America

I haven't seen the interview with John Bishop yet, but will check it out. I like James Corden, think he's pretty funny most of the time and comes across as a good bloke. The only thing I don't like about him is the fact he's shagged Sheridan Smith and I haven't.

You haven't shagged Sheridan Smith yet? Crikey, where have you been?

There's decent sport, endeavor and great sporting achievement on show, but each to their own.

Not doubting the endeavor that they put in, but IMHO it doesn't make for a great sporting spectacle. But, as you say, each to their own. I won't be tuning in to any of it, but I'm sure others will enjoy it.

You say 'it' like it's just one event. There are many events, like the wheelchair rugby which is pretty popular.

You say 'it' like it's just one event. For example, the wheelchair rugby is pretty popular.

I made a point of watching at least a tiny bit of every single paralympic sport at London 2012 (I was having a very similar conversation to now with a friend then) and genuinely didn't really enjoy any of them.

Like I say, if others like watching the different events (and they clearly do), that's great. I just find them totally dull.

Corden and Bishop on one screen! I'd have to rush down to the nearest builders merchant buy the biggest sledgehammer I could find and obliterate the TV/iPad/any other devices in the home capable of showing those two on the same screen before turning the hammer on myself. #good times

Personally, I'd like to see the Paralympics become it's own entity rather than tacked onto the end of the Olympics. It would be far better to host it somewhere separate from the Olympics, especially in the case of Rio, but generally I think it's becoming bigger and bigger and needs to step out of the shaw of the Olympics. Some of the stories of the athletes are amazing, and it is inspiring for anyone who isn't fully able bodied to know that there isn't a limit on what they can achieve.

I don't watch much of it, but I think some of it is incredible. Others, less so. I'm not sure it's fair in all cases, the swimming is a big turn off for me when you have a fully able dwarf thrashing others who are an arm/leg missing, that doesn't sit very well with me but I appreciate it's impossible to fairly classify races like that.

The rugby and basketball are brilliant events in their own right, savage action!

Unfortunately, I find it impossible to watch James Corden. His smugness makes me angry. His ubiquity more so.

I'm with you all the way on this one. I'd really like to watch it, but it's just WAY too soon after being continually bombarded with His Royal Smugness in that crappy car advert 'Just call me Mr Green Light Ubiquity BABY!!'

Nice idea but wouldn't the cost of it be prohibitive. Following on the from the olympics means the venues are there. Can't see to many countries looking to host them and build venues to suit. The infrastructure is all in place, athletes village, etc.
