I absolutely love James Corden pretty much the same as I love Take That.
He is funny he can act he can dance he can sing & probably his biggest asset he can write.
One of the things that has really adhered him to me is that he hasn't let the success change him that much.He is still a

Indeed, whenever JC is rocking his shit I don't miss David Bowie.

I have nothing but respect and admiration for the paralympic athletes but we in the 'first world' need to realise the rest of the world aren't in the same situation and find it difficult to have the same priorities.
What do you mean?

I find the Paralympics totally dull.
There's decent sport, endeavor and great sporting achievement on show, but each to their own.

I really find the Para olympics dull and cant take it at all serious.
Why can't you take it seriously? People train for years and it can be entertaining and competitive.

They should run the para Olympics alongside the Olympics, that will ensure they get the crowds and the exposure.

As for Corden, he was alright in Gavin and Stacey then all of a sudden he was everywhere. After that incident with Jean Luc Picard he was probably told to change his attitude because he came out of this looking like a prat in my opinion. I generally turn over if he is on. I don't find him funny.

When the Olympics is on, there's a lot to watch. If the Paralympics was on at the same time, many would just watch the traditional Olympics.

As it is, those that enjoyed the Olympics and want more, now have the Paras to watch.

That would be a terrible move. It gets far more exposure as a standalone event than it ever would if it was taking place at the same time as the main Olympic competition which has over 20 sports taking place. I imagine it would also be a logistical nightmare scheduling both events simultaneously.

Watched it last night, Corden came across as pretty decent and humble to be honest

Still in Brighton
Have to respect the bloke for the Late Late Show and carrying off Carpool Kareoke with some major celebs. Seems happy to poke fun at himself. I thought he came off much better than that pompous prat from Star Trek in their Glamour awards spat. However, it's annoying his voice overs and ads are everywhere. Still, he must be longing for a Laurel and Hardy remake/biopic.

As for the Paralympics, when you look at the crowds in those London clips.... i think we take much more interest in it than the rest of the world. Hope it's a good one. While they are amazing individuals, the pool of competition is pretty small to make it that competitive surely, which is why I didn't watch much last time - aiming to watch more for Rio.

I don't get the hate for Corden. I personally find him very funny and likeable. Gavin and Stacey was one of the best comedies of recent years and I think he's a laugh. I haven't seen his chat show because I can't abide the yank chat show format no matter who is hosting or who the guests are. The cutaways to "funny" things the band are doing, daft games with the guests. Just ****ing talk to the guest FFS!!

....one of the reasons why his chat with Bishop was so good.

I think the hate for people like Corbyn or Evans comes form people's prejudices. They think "How can a fat/ginger/ugly bloke be more successful than me. I hate him". Plain and simple.

Yep, Patrick Stewart made a dick of himself on that one.

Wrong.
I wouldn't say I hate James Corden, you, me and others have already said he was funny in Gavin and Stacey, I think he is a great comedy actor.
I just find him a bit annoying on chat shows and on that League of their own, or whatever it's called .
He also seems to do lots of voice over work and tv ads.
Has he moved away from comedy acting?

I'm sticking up for JC. Met him on a film set (into the woods) there were people everywhere, hundreds of runners getting food, clothing, applying make up, costumes etc. Some stars expected all the trimmings, JC went and got his own coffee, happily chatted to whoever and talked to me like a person/equal when all I was doing was extra work. Top bloke from a couple of weeks of filming.
