I’ve spent THREE HOURS on these answers this morning, and am now rather less bullish about them than I was initially.

Very happy with my answers to two of them, but a couple are significantly trickier, and the 1978 World Cup one is going to have a LOT of guesses!

That trophy is one of my most treasured possessions ,it was the year before i had my accident ruling out any other trophies which includes lobbing a ball at somebody at 33.2 mph (wind assisted ) , when i dust it , the memories flood back , good times indeed .

One point each awarded as the players went either side of the first League Cup Final with 1960 and 1962.

Taybha named 13 of the 15 winners, Barham's Tash named 12. All 15 winners were named between you.

So you cannot even be separated on aggregate scores. They are 15-15.

So it goes to a replay.

The replay will be a single multi answer question with an added tie breaker.

The NSC Quiz Cup Final Replay

The question itself was poorly worded. I put this down to a brain that has been finally finally frazzled by thinking of questions and checking answers.

It should have read 'Name nine of the teams since the war have appeared in an FA Cup final (at least once) and failed to win.

This has been referred to VAR and the original decision stands as there was no clear and obvious error in a player's ability to come up with correct answers.
