Going back to Bournemouth didn't do Eddie Howe any harm.

That's because he had a shed load of money in lower divisions and so was a success almost instantly second time around.

Unless Nathan hits the ground running back at Luton. Fans won't stay "on side " too long. That's if he has many on side to begin with. Fans won't give him a fair crack of the whip if results go against him for any length of time.

He should have waited for a totally fresh challenge. However that's Nathan for you. Quite full of himself and you have to admire him coz he will need all that Bravado to win back the fans he lost.

History for the most part tells you never to look back and I fear he might be making the wrong decision.

could nathan Jones do the unthinkable and keep them up currently winning 2-0 away from home, when he took over they was 6/1 to stay up

He could save Luton at the expense of Stoke, that would go down well in the potteries.

About to win this 6 pointer to take them off of the bottom.

Hudd have declined in no time at all, despite wads of parachute money and some highly paid players departing. An all too common path for clubs (Sunderland, Ipswich).

A way for the owners to take a nice cut and not worry about the future?

Come on Nathan! Would really love to see him keep them up, relegating 2 teams in the same season is not gonna help his CV and really like him a lot.

He is a gritty young welshman, I suspect nothing would keep him down, not even concrete boots. It would be good to see him keep them up, he would bring them sunshine.

My daughter’s boyfriend is a Luton STH, as is his Mum and Dad. He didn’t want NJ back, wanted him nowhere near the club, his parents have taken a more conciliatory view.

I’ve just had a text from the boyfriend “Nathan Jones Orange and Black army”

I think he’s been forgiven.

I reckon they have a good chance of staying up, probably the easiest remaining fixtures of the bottom 6, a big 6 pointer against Hull, and Wigan and very possibly Wednesday being added in the mix, and Nathan has got them believing in themselves again.

Kaz, Nathan, and - to a lesser extent - Glen Rea, will keep them up
