I'm not too concerned about the left wing, I think we will have enough there already. I'd much rather we signed another striker as it seems that Holroyd is in line for a starting place on Saturday which does scare me

Think it's pretty nailed on we'll play 4-5-1 on Saturday with Barnes up top on his own, could be wrong though...

He said back in May that he would like to come. Gus has told everyone that he would like to sign him, it seems a no-brainer to me.

Newcastle won't play him in the Premiership so a year playing first team football would be best for him.

The only reason for delay must be over the details of the deal, maybe they wish to sell rather than loan
