Liverpools big signing?

Been virtually done for a week and certainly not a BIG signing

If I was a Prem manager I'd expect better for 2+ million, take a English youngster like Joe Lewis and loan him back out with a call back clause? Could sign any experienced chump for free to sit on the bench, fill in for 20 mins if needed one game and then get your promising youngster back for next game if required.

There was no point signing him waste of money for a player who will play a max of 5 games a season and i can't see him being a protentiol no1 goalie ?
