Sell him & buy Dunk (scored Tuesday night) from Cambridge...no new kit reqd & players can still shout 'Dunky' for a pass so easy settling in

If someone offers the money being talked about (£5 million) then we would be mad not to consider it.

With that money we could buy a more than adequate replacement and have money to strengthen in other areas.

I think Gus is referring to Greer, look at how he was dominated by Carew up at Stoke last season.

I wouldnt think so as he tends to drift out wide when the high balls come in and it is Dunk that goes for them. He wins them ok but doesnt get any distance on his headers like in the past Steve Foster and Nicky Bisset did. He is more like Cullip the ball just drops 3 yds from where it is headed.

Greer gets dominated by everyone in the air, can't EVER remember him going up for a corner and getting a head on it,same applies when defending from corners. If you don't believe me or disagree then watch him for a while then decide.

Gus specifically said in Saturdays Argus that he needs competition for Dunk and can you honestly see him dropping Greer as he is so important to starting our attacking moves from defence. So the answer to the speculation is IMHO it is definitely Dunk who he is talking about.

We must not stop his career progress, i agree 2.5mill would help Gus bring in maybe 3or 4 new players IMO,full back, centre midfield and centre forward, need to get Adam back as well.

Totally disagree.... yes £2.5 mill is ok, but to get 3 or 4 new players with Championship /Premiership quality would cost more in the region of £ 10 mill... if we sold him for 2.5 then i think we would only get one (at a push two) to replace him. Minimum £ 5 mill..lets not forget we are not in League 1 now !!

No shame in losing out to Carew, the bloke is a heading machine monster.

It's not the cost of the players in question but whether we can afford their wages.
