It's now common knowledge we would be interested in him so I'd wager he isn't a Leicester player come Friday morning,I guess we've a limit on our transfer acquisitions so I've no problem if we pull out of our interest, shame because he's a excellent player but I'd rather trust in our process than deviating away from our business model.

Not sure it's even a given he'd want to leave. Would have been like Solly leaving to join a decent Prem team in our promotion. That wouldn't have been a given IMHO.

Hinshelwood can move into the middle.
I think this is the most likely

Gilmour and Gross the preferred partnership. Hinsh first choice to come into midfield when we need someone to rotate in. Milner second choice. Baleba mostly on the bench and sometimes getting 20 mins at the end of games when they are getting more stretched..

Moder I don't think is seen as a CM.

The other intriguing one is Barco. Will RDZ fancy him in this position?

Longer term, i'm not looking at players like Ayari, Leonard, Wier and thinking RDZ is looking at bringing them in for next season. But I would have said the same about Hinsh as well, so what do I know. Moran I guess would be competing in the front line in a Buonanotte type role

It's doing him no harm having his name linked with us and Arsenal. There's a decent chance he'll sign a new deal with Leicester.

The only way the sale will be sanctioned in my view is if Leicester are truly screwed FFP-wise., which I've got no idea about, but they have sold a few players.

We’re all getting the hang of our model aren’t we ? Certainly don’t pay more than 30m for anyone ai would say.

We’ve been linked with Enzo Barrenechea today. Potential summer signing.

English players dont seem to offer much value if Leicester looking for £40m.
You could buy 4 Argentinian u21 internationals for that.

Talksport expert saying unlikely to happen, as fee and player being a fan of the club would like to be part of a promotion campaign

Interesting piece on The Athletic today, Maresca the Leicester manager had a bit of a post match strop last night as he didn’t feel the fans were supportive enough. Made a vague threat to walk if they’re not happy with his ‘idea’. He’s also apparently unhappy that they’ve not been able to bring in any new players (Sensi deal not done yet) and KDH future still unclear. Put it this way, you could hear his best mate RDZ doing a very similar interview!

This is fine

But

Is NOWHERE near good enough cover for top 10. This is a 14/15th place squad of CMs as it stands. Baleba and hinsh may improve in the future but I'm talking right now.

Can't understand why we are not investing in this position with someone ready made.

I guess as RDZ would put it, it's the policy of the club.

The midfield whole does look distinctly Caicedo shaped. I know we were also battered a couple of times with him in the side, but our goals against column suggests the way we play demands specialist defensive midfield cover.

Could you? How many times has Maresca said how happy he is to be there and work with the squad of players that he has? RDZ must be into double figures saying that by now.

I meant more the part about threatening to walk if fans were't happy with his idea. Passionate and totally dogmatic in his belief in the way football should be played.

A similar story is told here where he won’t confirm if KDH will be a Leicester player on Friday.

Perhaps it’s time he called for Leicester’s fans to receive a History lesson, he is almost there. And for balance, most managers would be pretty cheesed off with the entitled fans’ reaction with their team sitting 10 points clear at the top of the table.
