90-100, on current polls. The lib dems would need 40+% in order to get a large amount of seats. Anything between 25% and 35% in the polls will see the gain pretty much the same amount of seats or a small rise, but with lots of second places. The problem with the Westminster system (for the Liberal Democrats) is that second places don't get you prizes.

They will as usual get plenty of wasted votes as they will not have sufficient to trouble either Tory or Labour as Cameron will win with an overall majority so that all the votes for Lib Dem will be for nothing.

My vote for the LibDem will keep help to keep a Tory out,ably assisted by there being no policies at all from the ropey right.Not a wasted vote,then,and will help towards the hung Parliament that will keep smug DC on the opposition benches.
