What do you mean?

The NYT is a left-leaning paper. As I suggested above, presumably a case of mistaken identity.

The Times (of London) is firmly on the right of the spectrum but I've not heard it labelled "extreme right" before. A "Tory rag", sure. "Murdoch propaganda", absolutely. Perhaps, I've missed its lurch into far right politics or maybe we have a different conception of extreme right.

If you'd said "extremely right wing", I'd let it slide but "extreme right" seems hyperbolic (and just wrong in the case of the NYT).
the guardian is not espousing communism, or indeed the socialist workers party, @Live by the sea was simply employing some lazy labels

He said the Guardian is "very lefty", which I disagree with, but that's besides the point.

Are you still trying to argue that the New York Times is "extreme right"? Bit odd, mate.

apols, but you gotta admit, if a chap were to think that the guardian is very left, they either don't understand politcs, or the english language, possibly both. the americans are not known for their intellect

Slightly concerning news for King Charles, hopefully soon back to business as usual, I am sure everyone on NSC will join in wishing His Majesty The King a speedy recovery.

Also full credit for the transparency the King is showing to encourage men of similar age to get themselves checked out.

Nonsense - The times both here & over the pond are not extreme right wing . Out of all the serious newspapers they are amongst the most sensible and balanced.
The Times today is a right wing rag increasingly barely removed from a red top. Sorry. My opinion.
Still a good crossword though

Interesting timing given what seems to be a more serious operation for poor Kate. Suspect Charles has taken one for the team to take some of the interest away from her? These things are always considered to the nth degree.

Nice to know that Blue bloods can also have a dodgy walnut, sure he'll be fine.

Not overly worried, we seem to have plenty more royals stockpiled.

You say that, but you've got some real trouble in the top ten line of succession. They're either really young, paedo's or nutters (after William who seems like a decent bloke).

Just far enough away from LDC
Given William's alleged other interests. I do wonder how he will keep himself occupied over the next couple of weeks. Must be awful being pegged back in the public affection.

Maybe his in-laws will pop round and help out given they don't appear to be doing anything else.
