It doesn't matter how much "equality" campaigners try and sanitise society one thing will remain - sex makes the world go round.

Just as long as all parties are adult and in agreement do-gooders should keep their noses out.

true. but equality doesn't mean sanitising society.

up to a point. just because you don't have a gun to your hear does not mean that you are 'choosing' to do something.

In my own opinion, if a girl wants to use her body to make money in whatever capacity who are the bigger mugs them or us pervs?

please see earlier post.

HAHAHAHA :lolol:

Women should wear Burkha's to stop themselves being seen as degraded sex objects.

that is why women wear burkhas.

i'm not a militant feminist, so i'm talking out of turn here, but i'm sure they could make an argument against lipstick.

I've only read this page of the thread and I've never seen GG perform.

But hasn't their 'leader' been on here several times trying to canvass support or votes for her in various lads mags competitions or other where she has been scantily dressed draped over a motorcycle or something similar?

Still some way from porn, I grant you, but with very real 'undertones of sex' and not entirely innocent or kid targeted.

She has every right to do that, naturally, but she's very much leveraging of her GG position and fanbase. As such I'm not sure they can have it both ways.

Couldn't agree more. Although some of the criticism is a bit harsh but you have to take it, my suggestion 'put your hands up' is to discourage 'your girls' from searching NSC for GG threads if they are as sensitive as you make them out to be. NSC isn't a hotbed of creative dance directors, the replies are going to be a bit more predictable than that.

Echoing others, no one I see at games pays any attention, I find the whole thing incredibly cringey. I hope the Amex is cheerleader free.

Oh dear. Gully's Girls are great fun. They are also very good at what they do, clearly have a passion for their dancing and represent the club superbly. We should be PROUD of them. Ok , they wear a football top and a skirt. What would people like TID want them to wear ?, thick jumpers and baggy trousers ?. Gully's Girls also come along in their spare time to attend the REMF games and do a lot of good work in the community. Jo is a very special Lady. She is gorgeous of course but it is clear she is also a very intelligent Woman. What she does in her spare time has nothing to do with Gully's Girls.

no-one has said anything against that.

like others, i don't think cheerleading is necessary at all, and could be damaging for the reasons we've been through. if you're going to stick your oar in, please read the thread up to now.

Jo, Gully's Girls brighten up a dull wet day at Withdean and make a sunny day even brighter, keep up the good work. The girls will look spectacular in the middle of the pitch at our wonderful new stadium next year, you are a part of the club and, I would suggest, the envy of a lot of the away supporters who visit us. The few whingers on here who knock what you do are pathetic.

No, that's partly why they wear them. They are also made to wear them by men because they can't control their sexual urges, ironically degrading women...
