To me it felt like we weren't ready physically, it was a classic championship style game and they were better. Webster was bullied at every opportunity, no presence up front, completely owned by their CB's, and yes our midfield were outplayed and Potter tactically out-thought.
Just really poor - I'm anticipating better Saturday.

Yes can't argue with that. In fact if you think of Mitrovic last season, Dunk (although to a lesser extent), also struggles against physicality. Duffy is probably the only one who relishes it.

So you are saying it's about the potential these developing players have not that playing these younger players has improved the record of our team? No actual improvement in the team yet.

It might not give much result short term but its great for the club long term.

Players in every youth team will now see that it is possible to establish themselves in the first team. It gives most of the young players a huge boost in motivation that is going to be very valuable for the foreseeable future.

Absolutely.......also makes it much easier to attract youngsters from elsewhere (and welcome back by the way[emoji106])
