Well I would have much rsther have seen CMS up front with Nooney and Lua Lua on the wings once Tanno got sent off. CMS on the left and bringing Sparrow on was never going to get us back in the game. I don't reckon the injury has effected Lua Lua, its just lack of 1st team action. Wouldn't surprise me if he wanted to go back to Newcastle or somewhere else in January and that would be a real shame. He should be able to eat this divisionif given half a chance. This lopsided midfield doesn't work without Buckley or Vicente.

I'm surmising of course but I get the impression that Gus is a bit of an autocrat. One word of dissent or out of place and you're out of the team. There's been some strange disappearances lately from the squad for no apparent reason i.e Calderon, Lua Lua. This playing of Noone on the right is ridiculous but maybe Gus finds it difficult to admit when he's wrong
